Yesterday’s day of the PG Nationals saw Atleta Esports, the champions of the last split, give up the game against the aNc OutPlayed due to line problems in the alternative venue and because of a positive Covid-19 player who was not in conditions to play.

The OP was therefore awarded the table victory, of which the co-head coach, Luca “Brizz” Brizzante, first asked if it was possible to postpone the game, which was not foreseen by regulation and also due to the limited time required. act before the EU Masters Summer Split. The community immediately closed around the Esports Athlete with messages of solidarity on social networks, with wishes for a speedy recovery and with the hope of seeing them again today on day 4, which at the moment is difficult but in which all fans of the Italian competitive team are hoping.

The second game saw Samsung Morning Stars versus Macko Esports. Once again the MCK delight with an “original”, creative draft, a siege comp in a better version than the one made by T1 at the MSI 2022 final against the RNG. The game itself was beautiful, very funny, without spoiling the game too much because it is absolutely to be recovered: the SMS win after more than 40 minutes of game thanks to some plays by a Kazuki in great shape, still commits some dictated mistakes from the great desire to “impact” the game and this in the lane phase forces him to go behind CS but it is undeniable how mechanically good he is and certain aggressive plays (his trademark) were essential for the Captain Counter team. On the other hand, however, we have an ACD with the Gangplank more terrifying than the PG Nats, a nightmare both in splitpush and in fight, one of the reasons that kept the Macko in play until the end.

The third match is the Sicilian derby between Esports Empire (Catania) and Cyberground Gaming (Palermo) won by the CGG after 52 minutes of game. Record of longevity of a match that arrives right in a very heated derby, where they played with good reason. The EE start well, accumulate advantage while the CGG collect and keep calm before recovering, even sending the game (tied) and finally closing with a not very large monetary advantage. 52 minutes that go by quietly but with negative notes, not so much for the game itself as for one of the EE players who can’t perform as well as he could. Before talking about it, however, we point out the action of Eyliph, absolutely to be reviewed, with Gnar, who overturns a lost fight with an ulti on 3 people and then stuns 4: it is not by chance that he will be the MVP of the game.

The EE player we talked about is Rubio, toplaner. Although the score of the last game could say the opposite, he played a very bad game and, unfortunately, he is not the first. The thing he regrets is that as a player he is not bad, really, but he is suffering this split start in a particular way. Sometimes he makes mistakes that are just trivial, like losing hp for free before a fight or getting picked up by two opponents (who he knew were close) after a goal: this only in the last game. Who needs to play more comfort pick? It is unclear, but hopefully he will recover soon: the EEs badly need it.

The last game takes place between Axolotl and GGEsports. Unfortunately this game is a little less exciting than the other two, it ends in the 38th minute with the victory of the GGE. Both teams played in such a way as to cancel each other out for a good part of the game before, with very slight advantages that were soon filled: at a certain point, simply, the GGEs climb and Ezreal begins to devastate the Assolotti. Mvp of the Saddy match, just the adc. However, it is advisable to recover the game due to the way both teams have managed the lane phase.

The final D-3 ranking sees the OPs alone at the top of the ranking with 3 out of 3 wins; Athlete, Sms, Macko and CGG second with 2 wins and 1 defeat; GGE alone immediately below with 1 victory and 2 defeats; ending with EE and AXL last with 3 defeats out of 3. Today, as usual at 7 pm, the fourth day will open, which you can follow on the PG Esports channels on Twitch and YouTube, or on the official LoL esport website or, again, in the Twitch channels of Brizz94 for OPs, Counter6tv for SMS, Mackoesports for MCK and Atleta_TV for Atleta Esports. Below is the schedule of the day: GGEsports vs aNc OutPlayed, Cyberground Gaming vs Samsung Morning Stars, Macko vs Axolotl, Esports Empire vs Atleta Esports.
