Without too much fuss, Xiaomi has included in its internal list a new smart TV which, known as Redmi Smart TV A75, is present with a remarkable ability to impress and involve home cinema lovers.

After the A58 model, equipped with a 58-inch panel resolved at 3840 x 2160, with 95.4% screen to body and support towards 1 billion colors, the Xiaomi sub-brand known as Redmi has announced in China the next and still most impressive Redmi Smart TV A75.
The new smart TV model has a unibody metal body, with very thin bezels (97.8% screen-to-body): this, combined with the fact that a 75-inch panel is used, and that there are two 10W speakers. each, ensures the user a considerable immersion in the contents he enjoys. The panel used has a 4K resolution (therefore from (3840 × 2160 pixels), with 1 billion primary colors covered, the extension of 78% on the DCI-P3 chromatic scale, in order to give the images the recipe of details of reality. with a smooth transition between shades.
Not suitable for gaming, given the 8.5 ms response time and 60 Hz refresh rate, the Redmi Smart TV A75 does not support the display of content in HDR, due to the fact that the peak brightness reaches a maximum of 300 nits. To support the elaborations and improvements of the device in question is a processor equipped with 4 Cortex-A35 cores, with the logical structure that is completed with 1.5 G of RAM and 8 GB of storage.
In terms of ports, the Redmi Smart TV A75 has an AV input, an Ethernet port, two HDMI (e.g. for console and a Fire TV dongle), two USB Type-A, and an S / P interface for an external speaker if the audio integrated in the TV itself is deemed insufficient.
For the operating system, Android TV was chosen which, thanks to the proprietary MIUI TV interface, improves interaction with the company’s smartphones and allows you to control compatible home automation (eg view the surveillance camera). Currently, the Redmi Smart TV A75 is priced in China at 3399 yuan, corresponding to approximately 489 euro in our country: no plans are known for a relative debut also in the European market.
