Already a few months ago there was persistent talk of a big news in the house Samsung, which wasted no time in officially showing up. The one that everyone already called Galaxy Ringwas officially announced by the giant on stage at the Unpacked 2024 event in San Josè, California, where the new Galaxy S24s were presented.
Just as expected, Samsung’s event was full of announcements, including the new Galaxy AI era and other very interesting services. Certainly the announcement of the smart ring was something that many didn’t expect to see.
The Galaxy Ring was made official at the Unpacked event but without further details
The South Korean tech giant spent the last part of the show talking about Samsung Health. Before the speech ended, the product that no one expected arrived, namely the much talked about Galaxy Ring.
The only aspects that can be analyzed at the moment are the aesthetic ones since no other word has been harmed. The ring appears to have a shiny exterior similar to a chrome material, with all the sensors needed for monitoring directly on the inside. Even if Samsung’s new ring showed its design (and that’s already a lot), users were also expecting some other information which however did not arrive. Samsung did not go into details: it is not known what the device can do, what the price is or when it will be launched on the market.
However, some rumors popped up on the web prior to the analysis of the app’s APK Galaxy Wearable have made it clear that it is a “smart device for measuring health indicators and/or sleep in the form of a ring“. The same report published online also said that the Galaxy Ring would arrive in 2024 and would have Bluetooth connectivity. It is therefore time to give great credibility to the source.
