Samsung confirms Galaxy AI on 100 million devices but is doubtful about payments

Recently, lovers of the smartphone world, and in particular those of the Android sector, had the opportunity to witness the launch of the series Galaxy S24. With its new three devices, Samsung has shown all its ability in the development of artificial intelligence, proposing the concept of “Galaxy AI“. There are various features implemented on the phones, all useful for improving the user experience and providing great help in certain situations.

Of course there is one impediment: they are limited to the S24 range only. This represents a problem for those who have not felt the need to change their smartphone this time.

Fortunately, as previously announced, many of the Galaxy AI features will also be implemented by Samsung on other previously launched devices. Initially, the list of products designated to receive these features was limited to the most recent ones. Among them were only the Galaxy S23 series, the Galaxy S23 FE, the Galaxy Z Fold 5the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Tab S9. Well, I’ll go in June Updates will arrive which will also bring the new AI features to the products previously presented.

There will be 100 million Samsung devices that will welcome Galaxy AI functions

The latest statements from the president of Samsung T.M. Rohthey confirmed that Galaxy AI features will arrive on approx 100 million of mobile devices. These features will be accessible for free until 2025, although the company has not yet decided how to act on any costs that will follow.

It is clear that people have different needs, so there will be those who will only be willing to have them for free and those who will be willing to pay perhaps an annual payment. It is not excluded that even more powerful functions may arrive and that in that case there will be Samsung users willing to pay for them.

However, many believe that the model’s $100 price increase Ultra it should be enough to offset the costs incurred for software development.
