Samsung thinks about the future: a Z Flip foldable on both sides is ready

Great innovation is certainly the main objective of a giant like Samsung, which is particularly standing out these days. Its presence at CES 2024 in Las Vegas is giving journalists a lot of material as there are so many new features presented.

Starting from the artificial intelligence of robots up to the new smart TVs, the company has chosen to present many new technologies. These, shown to the public also in the form of some prototypes, left a lot of amazement.

One device in particular would have surprised because of its idea: it would be a revisited version of a smartphone that could soon be part of the range Z Flip. However, this time everything would literally take place in reverse, with the fold of the display that could be used in two directions.

Samsung is considering launching a double-sided folding smartphone

For a few days now we’ve been talking about nothing else: at CES 2024 in Las Vegas, Samsung presented a device called In&Out Flip. With a foldable screen produced, needless to say, by Samsung Display, the new In&Out Flip is a phone that folds to 360 degrees.

This means that, unlike the traditional foldable devices that Samsung has accustomed us to, which are able to open and close normally, this one opens completely, even from the opposite side.

In this way, the need to provide the smartphone with an additional external screen is completely eliminated. In fact, the main folding display itself will fold outwards. Samsung’s idea is to confer a higher level of elegance precisely by using a single screen, so as to make the product thinner.

It is therefore a great alternative provided to consumers who prefer traditional smartphones precisely because of their lower thickness. At the moment nothing is known about its marketing.
