Threads: You can now save drafts and take photos with the app

The developers of Meta they are continuing to work on Threads to make the new social network increasingly competitive.

In this sense, a few hours ago the head of Instagram Adam Mosseri presented some interesting implementations, currently tested on a limited number of users, which have been loudly requested by users in the past. The platform is preparing for the introduction of drafts, with the possibility of saving a text to then be sent or further modified. In fact, just start writing a post and, by scrolling down, you can save a text without sending it.

An interesting innovation, but which does not yet allow Threads to make the leap in quality. Xa direct competitor of the platform, allows you to work with multiple drafts at the same time, while Meta’s social network seems to allow the management of only one message at a time.

The other introduction is a sort of “shortcut” for the camera, which will allow users to take photos within the app.

Not just drafts and photos: the Threads app is once again being downloaded by users

In fact, the Threads app will soon allow you to manage the camera without using external tools with a simple touch on the appropriate icon.

Once the photo is taken, the app offers the option to share it on the platform or take a better one. All of this should make sharing images on Threads quicker and more immediate.

After a launch with record numbers, Meta’s new social network has slowed down its enormous growth, stabilizing at appreciable but far from sensational numbers, still returning to the ranking of the most downloaded apps in the world.

In this sense, the developers’ intense work is paying off, with continuous and interesting updates. In this regard, for example, it seems that over the next few months Meta will introduce some API which will increase Threads integration with third-party apps.
