It is time for updates also for the T series of the well-known Chinese brand Vivo which, fresh from the announcement of the Y32e model, has meanwhile fielded, in China (from 6 June), the new Vivo T2x as heir to the Vivo T1x 5G model. launched late last year.

The new Vivo T2x (163.9 x 75.3 x 9.2 mm for 203 grams, in the colors Fog Blue and Mirror Black) has plastic side frames and a matte finish on the back where AG Glass technology has also been used. Placed the fingerprint scanner on the side, the display bears a drop notch for the 16 megapixel (f / 2.0) selfiecamera: the remaining space, for 84.5% screen-to-body, is up to, with an aspect ratio at 20: 9, at the display, a 6.58-inch IPS LCD resolved at 1,080 x 2,408 pixels (FullHD +), from 144 Hz refresh rate, 240 Hz sampling rate, with a brightness ranging from 1 (for the dark) 650 nits for outdoors, and DCI-P3 color gamut support.

On the back a square bumper placed on a light-colored step houses a dual camera, with a 50 megapixel main sensor (f / 1.8) and a 2 megapixel (f / 2.4) macro sensor. On the audio side, there are two stereo speakers while the multi-sensory involvement is completed with a new vibrational motor along the linear axis.

A dissipation area extended to 29.206 mm2 works for the benefit of the processor, the octacore (3.0 GHz) MediaTek Dimensity 1300 from 6 nanometers with Mali-G77 MC9 GPU: the RAM, LPDDR4X, is always 8 GB, while the storage, UFS 3.1, is 128 or 256 GB. Consequently, ipso facto, the 8 + 128 GB combinations, sold for 1,599 yuan (224 euros) and 8 + 256 GB, sold for 1,799 yuan (251 euros). On the energy level, the Vivo T2x boasts a 6,000 battery. mAh which, once charged quickly (from 0 to 50% in 35 min) at 44W, ensures up to 20 hours of video playback. The same energy unit also ensures wired reverse charging (Type-C), at 6W.

The on-board connectivity in the Vivo T2x smartphone, animated by Android 12 under the OriginOS 2.0 UI, finally includes the 3.5 mm mini-jack, dual SIM, 5G standalone and not, GPS, Wi-Fi ax / 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC for contactless payments.
