With the late January 2024 update, Telegram introduced the concept of ephemeral audio and video messages. Every user can create from now on self-deleting messages, once viewed or listened to by the recipient. This possibility was already offered for normal text communications but is now also extended to voice messages e video.
The new approach allows you to digitally reproduce what happens in real-life conversations. For example when you transmit information to another person, without repeating it.
How to record ephemeral voice and video messages with Telegram
To record audio and video messages that the recipient is only able to open once, it is necessary update Telegram to the latest version, start acquiring the sound or video contribution then scroll up (towards the icon depicting the padlock icon). When the recipient receives the messages, the presence of the figure “1” enclosed in a circle means that we are dealing with an ephemeral message, which can only be managed once. Playing the audio or video file transmitted via Telegram, it cannot be played pause. Furthermore, the message received it will “vanish” immediately.
On paper, the novelty appears rather interesting. It must be said that there could be various expedients for circumvent the restriction set by Telegram.
