Apple Watch, the next one could be thinner

The usual feeling of anticipation overwhelms Apple users at certain times of the year. During these weeks there has been a lot of talk about the new iPads but the news regarding the next one certainly does not go unnoticed Apple Watch.

Many expect the next generation of smartwatches made in Cupertino, perhaps called Apple Watch Series X or simply Apple Watch Series 10, may arrive during the autumn period. While many fans are expecting a redesign, rumors don’t yet point to any major changes on the horizon.

Rumors have spoken of a new attachment for the straps, the only aspect that would be at least revolutionary on board the famous smartwatches. As of today, according to a report published on the web, it seems that Apple may use resin-coated copper for the watch’s logic board. This only means one thing: one decrease in thickness.

Apple Watch, the new series could be thinner than the others

The choice to use a logic board designed and built differently than usual could benefit the next Apple Watch in terms of thickness.

When we talk about resin-coated copper, we mean a very thin layer, a real copper foil, which is coated with protective resin. This technology, in addition to reducing the thickness of the next smartwatches, could bring functional improvements to the Apple Watch logic board in terms of durability e water resistance.

Returning to the previous discussion, the choice of these materials would guarantee thinner components inside. This therefore would not lead to any reason to create a thick external body, so a totally new design could emerge, or at least significantly revised.

In fact, with a thinner logic board, more space would be created for the other components. The real change could be this to the delight of users, who have been waiting for stylistic innovations on the Apple Watch for years now.
