Copilot Pro: cost and information on the premium version of Microsoft’s virtual assistant

The introduction of the paid plan, however, is not the only news regarding Microsoft’s virtual assistant. In fact, even the standard version of Copilot has been substantially updated.

The updates, which will be gradually active for the first users from today, concern functions for specific uses of the assistant, with theGPT integration usable in different areas: from travel to fitness to the kitchen. While these are available to everyone, only Pro users will have the ability to create GPTs themselves.

But how much does Copilot Pro cost? Microsoft has revealed how the subscription is from 20 dollars a month per user, effectively “equalizing” the proposal of ChatGPT Plus.

A cost, among other things, that is more than understandable given how much it costs Microsoft to manage the infrastructure that supports its virtual assistant. In fact, the hardware costs for maintaining Copilot would be around $700,000 a day. Precisely for this reason, in February last year, OpenAI also opted to introduce a Plus subscription for its chatbot.
