Google is working on better integration between Android and ChromeOS

According to a discovery by AssembleDebuga user known on X for being an expert in the sector, Google would be working to make Android and ChromeOS capable of ever greater interactions with each other.

The user in question, apparently, analyzed version 24.06.12 of Google Play Services making some discoveries in this regard. In fact, after activating various flags, he identified new functions that would demonstrate the company’s intentions to promote communication between the two ecosystems.

As reported by 9To5Google, the functionality Device connections will be renamed to Devices and sharingwith the addition of a new entry called at the moment Cross-device services. With a selection of the latter, users could choose between Android phones and Chromebook. At the moment there does not appear to be an imposed limit regarding the devices that can be connected at the same time.

AssembleDebug himself then talked about a function called Call Cast. This should allow you to switch between devices during calls, while only working with some specific apps.
