On the first day that you can buy in the United States Apple Vision Pro, the first headset from the Cupertino company, important news arrives from the offices of another tech giant, the one led by Mark Zuckerberg. From the press release released in these hours we learn that the viewer Meta Quest VR will soon be able to play space videos registered with iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max. The support, we read, will arrive with thev62 update.

The Vision Pro from the Cupertino giant is not a perfect device (the weight, according to early reviews, could become a problem in the long run), but it has nevertheless attracted considerable attention. The device however has a very high cost (starting from $3,500) and, above all, at the moment can only be purchased in the United States of America.
Precisely for this reason the news released by Mark Zuckerberg’s company was welcomed with certainty enthusiasm. With the software update v62 above, users who do not have an Apple Vision Pro will be able to use the Meta Quest to enjoy space videos in an immersive and engaging way registered with Apple’s latest two top-of-the-line smartphones.
All space videos uploaded to the Quest will be automatically converted to a compatible format and stored in the cloud. Some are already available at the moment demonstration videos to give a better idea.

The feature concerns exclusively the 3, 2 and Pro models of the Meta VR viewer. The latest generation one, the 3, has a starting price of €549.99 in Europe.
