Sharp, a Japanese brand also active in the notebook branch (via Dynabook, formerly Toshiba) thanks to the “firepower” of the Chinese parent Foxconn, has announced the low cost Sharp HT-SB100 soundbar, destined to arrive in Europe in a few months, starting from the French market where, in September, it will be priced, through partner retailers and the official store, at 79 euros.

The Sharp HT-SB100 soundbar has a classic parallelepiped frame, in glossy black, extended by 80 cm in length so as to be able to easily adapt to TVs from 32 inches upwards: it can also be attached to the wall, thanks to the VESA connection, it presents on the front a metal grille and, at the top, some control buttons. Basically, it is credited with a power of 75 watts: being a stereo 2.0 system, it delivers surround sound by perfectly separating the left and right channels.

Other acoustic benefits offered by Sharp’s HT-SB100 soundbar are substantiated in the presence of 3 presets, which allow you to optimize the audio performance according to the content played, allowing the user to switch between the options dedicated to movies, music, or to enhance the dialogues and the voice in general.

During equalization, there is also the possibility of varying the impact of high and low frequencies according to one’s needs. There are so many ways that the Sharp HT-SB100 soundbar can connect to its sources.

In this sense, it is possible to use the USB port perhaps to connect a key full of Mp3, or you can use Bluetooth connectivity, for easy streaming from your mobile devices. Do not miss an input via 3.5 mm jack, and an HDMI port. The latter supports the audio return channel, ARC, allowing you to reduce the number of cables required and, in addition, it is also CEC-ready, so that it will be possible to manage the Sharp HT-SB100 soundbar using the same remote control as the TV.
