WhatsApp, finally the long-awaited update for statuses

The months that closed 2023 showed just how much WhatsApp wanted to continually improve. Many updates have arrived that have slowly revolutionized the most famous messaging platform in the world and apparently it hasn’t finished there.

Over the last few days, WhatsApp has in fact released a new series of updates but always and only for those registered with the program beta. Although many of these updates are useful only and exclusively for solving various bugs, there are others which, according to what was reported by the main sources, would have brought new features. At the moment they are reserved for beta testers who will have the task of seeing firsthand what is new by providing feedback.

WhatsApp: the new beta update increases the length of videos in statuses

Many users had been clamoring for such an update and apparently they are about to officially receive it. With the latest beta version 2.24.7.6 of WhatsApp, the engineers have increased the length of video that users can add to their status. Currently, those who use WhatsApp can add videos of a maximum duration of 30 seconds to your status but everything will change soon. With the latest beta version, in fact, the developers report that the duration has passed to 1 minute.

As the very updated source on the matter reports, the new feature that allows users to share longer videos in states is currently limited. In fact, it seems to be available only and exclusively to a small number of beta testers and only on the platform Android.

While this isn’t a core feature of WhatsApp, it will certainly please users to know that engineers are listening feedback. Even in this case, everything possible was done to satisfy the requests.

Now the hope is that this new beta update will become effective, as it is not a given. Certainly the first to receive it will be Android users.
