The WhatsApp team is not allowed to rest and, after a few hours of pause, has returned to attract the attention of the media, with a small improvement to create the groups but, above all, dedicating itself to the development, not yet evident, of a subscription plan. for messaging.
After putting his hand to several improvements no later than a few hours ago, WhatsApp immediately returned to work, releasing a novelty relating to the creation of groups, and suspending a recent function perhaps due to a bug: in the meantime, according to some rumors, the platform in question would work to introduce a form of subscription.
The first round of news related to WhatsApp in this middle-week concerns business users, that is, those who use the Business version. According to what was reported by the WABetaInfo feature trackers, WhatsApp is working on an interface redesigned for the “Connected device” function in which the message changes, with the platform warning how multiple devices can be connected to the same account, so that in the same company more different people can talk to the customer.
This is linked to the second novelty discovered by WABetaInfo, again in relation to Business accounts, which in the future could use a subscription plan: the latter, optional, a bit like Twitter Blue, would provide accessory functions. Among these, while waiting for others, one could allow to connect up to 10 devices against the usual 4.
For the moment, the report published by the insiders does not reveal more details on the subscription plans for WhatsApp Business, and therefore it is not known whether they will be monthly or annual and their amount: certainly, in addition to the fact that, it is good to reiterate it, they will be optional, WhatsApp subscriptions will not affect standard users. WhatsApp, therefore, is and will remain free.
In recent days, with the Android 2.22.10.2 beta release of WhatsApp for Android, the function that allowed you to change the language of WhatsApp in-app arrived: apparently, perhaps due to a bug that is thought to be solved with a future update, Menlo Park has taken to temporarily deactivate this function. Later, as if to be forgiven, the platform began the distribution of another novelty, starting with some users of the beta 2.22.9.13, but more broadly with the audience of users of the experimental release 2.22.10.3 for Android, which allows you to easily create a group with a user.
All this happens, in the contact information window, thanks to a shortcut, “Create group with”, which appears if a group has already been created with that user: in this case, by touching the shortcut, the contact in question will be automatically selected for the new group in which, before launch, it will still be possible to add other users.
