Among the brands intent on presenting new low-cost smartphones in China at the start of the week, ZTE certainly stood out for importance, which unsheathed the particularly cheap Changxing 30 device, with a 120 Hz LCD display.

It hasn’t been long since ZTE, always very innovative in terms of smartphones, announced its new top Axon 40 range, one of which with invisible camera under the screen: almost two months later, it’s time to update the price list also regarding entry level devices, as just done in the Chinese domestic market, with the presentation of the economical ZTE Changxing 30, priced at 798 yuan (about 113 euros).

The new ZTE Changxing 30 has a frame just 8.9 mm thick, with a weight that of just 192.2 grams stands out below the psychological threshold of 200 grams: the front space houses a front with a water drop notch, where the 5 megapixel selfiecamera, also prepared for unlocking by scanning the face. The little space taken away, allows the HD resolution of the display, a 6.517-inch IPS LCD panel, suitable for gaming due to its 120 Hz refresh rate, to earn the Plus (thus resulting from 1,600 × 720 pixels).

The back, in the classic but poetic crystal blue and moonstone gray colors, is minimal, bare, with the fingerprint scanner at the top center and the rectangular bumper at the top left: inside, above the Dual Flash LED, there is the small circle indicating the benefits of AI and, nearby, vertically aligned, the sensors of the triple camera.

The 13-megapixel main sensor makes up the rear multi-camera of the ZTE Changxing 30, followed by two 2-megapixel sensors, one for macro and one for depth. To complete the multimedia area there is the speaker, unhappily placed on the back, the microphone, which also allows you to use the voice assistant adapted for use with WeChat, and (below) the 3.5 mm mini-jack to be used. with old-fashioned, wired headphones and earphones. Still on the short low frame, there is the microUSB port, which charges the battery, from 5,000 mAh to 10W.

Ready for the classic connectivity, including 4G LTE with VoLTE calls, the ZTE Changxing 30 is powered by the octacore processor (1.6 GHz) Unisoc SC9863A, with PowerVR GE8322 graphics card, supported by 4 GB as the amount of RAM and 64 GB in storage capacity, expandable via microSD up to an additional 512 GB.
